Description

Description

The Fusion 12mm range of laminates has the distinct benefit of a thicker core board allowing for greater sound absorption and is more forgiving with regard to subfloor levelness. It is available in two widths and a rustic, textured finish. Furthermore, the 12mm range has the added benefit of a simple drop-down system on the short ends which make these heavier boards easier to install but with the comfort and security of the Doc Loc fitting system on the long sides. Meaning thatthe boards can be fixed one at a time, allowing for easily installation in hallways and around doorways.

This laminate flooring went into our lounge and the overall look suits the space very well. The joints sit neatly once everything is aligned and the overall finish looks consistent. The click joints lined up well once the first rows were square. The floor is easy to coordinate with both lighter and darker furniture. Overall it has been a very good choice for the space.

This laminate flooring went into our kitchen-diner and the overall look suits the space very well. The plank proportions work well in the room and help the space feel a little more open. The printed grain has enough variation that the finished floor does not look repetitive. Once the subfloor was prepared, the installation moved along at a steady pace. The finished surface feels stable underfoot and has been straightforward to keep clean. The end result looks clean and the room feels much more finished.

We selected this for the kitchen-diner as something practical that still had plenty of character. The joints sit neatly once everything is aligned and the overall finish looks consistent. The oak tone works naturally with the light in the room and is easy to coordinate with furniture. The 12mm construction gives the boards a reassuring feel once fitted. The board format looks balanced and the joins do not draw attention once the floor is complete. It has made a noticeable difference to the room without being difficult to live with.
